In August 2015, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust commissioned POP to conduct focus group discussions to further investigate the life planning of out-of-school youths as well as their comments on the "CLAP for Youth @ JC" programme, in order to adjust the content of the programme to better meet the needs of young people and help them with their life planning.

The discussion guide used in this study was designed independently by the POP Team after consulting the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, while both POP and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust had equal say in the final instrument. Meanwhile, fieldwork operations and data collection were conducted independently by the POP Team, without interference from any outside party. In other words, POP was given full autonomy to the research design and operations, in return, POP would take full responsibility for all the findings reported herewith.
